Present Projects: I originated and made the initial arrangements and proofs for the Viola Arrangement of Brian Wicklund’s Italics: The American Fiddling Method, Book I, being published in 2006. My first book of fiddling lessons for the heterogeneous class written with Doris Gazda with Jay Ungar and Molly Mason is due for publication by Carl Fisher, Inc. in early 2006. Working on Sweets of May Companions with caller and fiddlers, Dudley and Jacqueline Laufman.
Performing: First chair or first stand violist of most of CT’s symphonies. Show pit work in NYC & CT. Radio commercial recording. Onstage fiddler for: The Irish and How They Got that Way. Contra Dance fiddler of:The Reel Thing, Sweetheart Strings Band, the Cheshire Cats and the PTA String Band. More extensive performing resume is available.
